In this version, Ngulkur employs an old fashioned style of clapstick beating for instrumental section 1. This pattern, in which a passage of fast doubled beating is followed by a passage of fast even beating, is typical of the early Walakandha wangga (see chapter 3, chapter 8). Note that the didjeridu drops out briefly in the final instrumental section
